Privacy Policy

What we collect

Waitlist (this website): your email address and the channel you came from (e.g. TikTok or Instagram). Nothing else.
App account: email address and an optional display name.
App content: your pantry items, shopping lists, recipes, meal plans and household membership — the data the app exists to manage.
Photos: receipt and shelf photos you choose to scan are sent to our AI provider for recognition, used only to extract items, and are not retained as images.
Guest mode: a random device identifier stored on your device, used to keep your data together without an account.

What we do with it

Run the product: sync your pantry across your household, send expiry notifications, generate recipes from your ingredients.
Email you once when the app launches (waitlist). No marketing sequences, no spam.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL) and protected by row-level security: your household's data is visible only to its members. AI features (recipe generation, photo recognition) are processed by our AI gateway provider; only the minimum required content is sent.

Deleting your data

App account: Profile → "Delete account permanently". This removes your account, profile and — if you are the household's only member — the household and all of its data. Irreversible.
Waitlist: reply to any email from us, or contact us below, and we'll remove your address.
